The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK, or ATCM for short, is the leading regulatory body for the practice of acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the UK. Founded in 1994 by TCM practitioners and researchers in the UK, ATCM is the largest professional organisation for TCM practice with currently over 700 members across the UK. All full members of ATCM are fully qualified to practise acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Tuina-Chinese therapeutic massage. The ATCM’s Code of Practice and Code of Professional Conduct are recognised as the standard by Department of Health.
